Welcome to Country Capabilities
Country Capabilities WA is owned and operated by Occupational Therapist Sophie Allen. Based in the Wheatbelt and Great Southern regions, Sophie is passionate about delivering high-quality services to individuals in regional and remote communities.
Sophie graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Occupational Therapy – Honours) from Curtin University in 2022. Her honours research focused on post-traumatic brain injuries. She also completed the New Graduate Pathway through Rocky Bay, further enhancing her clinical skills and professional development.
Sophie has several years of experience working within the NDIS framework, supporting individuals with disabilities across regional Western Australia.
Sophie brings valuable experience working with autistic and neurodivergent individuals and is deeply committed to delivering neuro-affirming care. She has a particular interest in supporting clients within natural environments, including the home, school, and community settings. Sophie is also experienced in conducting functional capacity assessments, prescribing assistive equipment, and facilitating basic home modifications.
